Get Involved

Join the work that keeps local music moving.

There are many ways to take part in Patrask, from volunteering and mentoring to hosting, partnering, or helping young artists step into the room.

Patrask grows through practical participation. If you care about youth music, open cultural spaces, and stronger community ties in Strängnäs, there is a place for you here.

Ways To Participate

Choose a role that fits your time, skills, and energy.

Some people join for a single event. Others help shape a whole season. Both matter. We welcome practical support, artistic collaboration, and local partnerships that make youth-led music activity easier to sustain.

01 Volunteer

Support events and rehearsals

Help with setup, welcoming guests, ticket tables, teardown, or keeping rehearsal nights running smoothly and safely.

02 Mentor

03 Attend

Show up for performances

One of the most direct ways to help is to be in the audience. A full room gives young performers confidence and keeps local stages active.

04 Partner

Collaborate as an organization or venue

Schools, cultural groups, venues, and civic partners can help by sharing space, resources, outreach, or co-hosted programming.

What It Looks Like

Practical contribution, not passive support.

Getting involved with Patrask usually means stepping into a real task. You might greet arrivals, help a young band load in, document a show, lend production knowledge, or connect us with a local opportunity.

That hands-on approach is part of the point. It keeps our work grounded, relational, and visibly connected to the place where it happens.

Who Should Reach Out

Individuals, families, artists, and local partners are all welcome.

You do not need to arrive as an expert. Patrask is for people who want to contribute to a stronger local music culture, whether that means offering time, opening doors, sharing equipment, or simply helping more young people feel that they belong in creative spaces.

If you are unsure where you fit, that is still a good reason to contact us. We can usually point you toward a useful first step.

How To Start

The easiest way to get involved is to start a conversation, describe what you can offer, and let us match that to a real need.

Whether you want to volunteer occasionally or build a longer partnership, we want participation to feel straightforward and useful from the beginning.
